Famous quotes containing the words connections, bodies and/or water:

    Our business being to colonize the country, there was only one way to do it—by spreading over it all the associations and connections of family life.
    Henry Parkes (1815–1896)

    And when all bodies meet
    In Lethe to be drowned,
    Then only numbers sweet
    With endless life are crowned.
    Robert Herrick (1591–1674)

    The night was thick and hazy
    When the “Piccadilly Daisy”
    Carried down the crew and captain in the sea;
    And I think the water downed ‘em;
    For they never, never found ‘em,
    And I know they didn’t come ashore with me.
    Charles Edward Carryl (1841–1920)
