A television series titled Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness is airing on Nickelodeon since its premiere on November 7, 2011. From the cast of Kung Fu Panda, only Lucy Liu and James Hong are reprising their roles of Master Viper and Mr. Ping. In the series, Po continues to defend the Valley of Peace from all kinds of villains, while making mistakes, learning about the history of Kung Fu, and meeting other Kung Fu masters.
