Oases
Besides the main Oasis group of the Kufra basin, four more oases belong to the region, which lie northwest of Kufra basin: Rebiana, Buzema, Wadi Zighen and Tazirbu. The oasis-valleys of Jabal Arkanu and Jebel Uweinat lie southeast of the basin.
