Each year since 2005, Knox has had several well-known commencement speakers, including Barack Obama (2005), Stephen Colbert (2006), Bill Clinton (2007), Madeleine Albright (2008), Patrick J. Fitzgerald (2009), Christina Tchen (2010) and Majora Carter (2011).
