Youth Provision
JADE is a young people's social enterprise, based in Kiveton Park. Their aim is to provide positive opportunities for young people - through the medium of music and performance - as an alternative to the street culture of the area. In their Wales Road Drop In Centre they work with over 150 Young People per week. They provide an innovative and bespoke service - engaging young people in positive activities - such as Music Production, DJ Techniques and positive social opportunities. Through their provision, they have seen a huge fall in Anti-Social Behaviour within the community - and have created a wealth of opportunities for Young People. JADE provide state-of-the-art Dance events - that are normally associated within large Towns or Cities - for Young People in the local area. Alongside their partner Uprising, some of the biggest names in UK Hardcore music - like DJ's Breeze and Ultrabeat - have performed for Young People in Dinnington and Kiveton Park.
