Kirkcudbrightshire

The Stewartry of Kirkcudbright ( /kərˈkuːbriː/ kirr-KOO-bree; Siorrachd Chille Chuithbheirt in Gaelic) or Kirkcudbrightshire (/kərˈkuːbriːʃər/ kirr-KOO-bree-shər) was a county of south-western Scotland. It was also known as East Galloway, forming the larger Galloway region with Wigtownshire.
