In 2007 he finished an 11 month relationship with the UK actress Patsy Kensit (ex- wife of Liam Gallagher) which was the inspiration for his single "Reveal Your Inner Self" (2007, produced by James & Martin Rushent). The lyrics attack tabloid and celebrity magazine journalists for hiding behind their printed words and spreading lies. Since the breakup he has released further material on his website attacking his previous relationship Patsy Kensit and criticising himself for getting involved. It saw a heavy turn in his life which became the catalyst for future work.
