Kilimanjaro Safaris - Story

Story

The ride, since 2012, is a short photo safari aboard a safari vehicle through the Harambe Wildlife Reserve in Harambe, East Africa. It is 800 square miles (2,100 km2) of natural terrain, including Ituri forest, wetlands of the Safi River valley and the open bush country of the Serengeti Savanna. During most of the ride people view the common African animals including elephants, giraffes, zebras, antelope, gazelles, crocodiles, monkeys, hippos, lions, cheetahs, warthogs, ostriches, rhinos, storks, pelicans, flamingos, wildebeests, and okapis and zebras post the 2012 update. The tour guide points out animals and provides entertainment. The new finale will be revealed with the zebras in 2012.

Famous quotes containing the word story:

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story or tell a story about them.
    Isak Dinesen (1885–1962)

The public history of modern art is the story of conventional people not knowing what they are dealing with.
    Robert Motherwell (1915–1991)

Wit is often concise and sparkling, compressed into an original pun or metaphor. Brevity is said to be its soul. Humor can be more leisurely, diffused through a whole story or picture which undertakes to show some of the comic aspects of life. What it devalues may be human nature in general, by showing that certain faults or weaknesses are universal. As such it is kinder and more philosophic than wit which focuses on a certain individual, class, or social group.
    Thomas Munro (1897–1974)
