Khoy

Khoy (Persian: خوی‎, Azerbaijani: خوی, Armenian: Խոյ, historical Հեր Her ; also Romanized as Khoi, Khvoy, Khowy, Khuy, and Xoy) is a city in and the capital of Khoy County, West Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 178,708, in 45,090 families.
