KAUT-TV is an independent television station in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. It broadcasts a high definition digital signal on UHF channel 40 (virtual channel 43.1 via PSIP) from a transmitter near the John Kilpatrick Turnpike/I-44 on the city's northeast side. Owned by Local TV (operated by private equity firm Oak Hill Capital Partners), it is sister to NBC affiliate KFOR-TV and both share studios on Britton Road & U.S. 77, east of the city's Britton section.
