Kampong Chhnang Province
Kampong Chhnang (Khmer: ខេត្តកំពង់ឆ្នាំង, "Port of Pottery") is a province (khaet) of Cambodia. It borders the provinces of Kampong Thom to the north, Kampong Cham to the east, Kandal and Kampong Speu to the south, and Pursat to the west. Its capital and largest city is Kampong Chhnang.
Kampong Chhnang is the 15th largest province in Cambodia. With a population of 471,616, it ranks as the 13th largest in the nation. Kampong Chhnang is one of the nine provinces that is part of the Tonle Sap Biosphere Reserve. The province is famous for its clay pots.
