Kaikohe

Kaikohe is the central service area for the Far North District of New Zealand, about 260 km from Auckland, situated on State Highway 12 at 35°24′S 173°48′E / 35.4°S 173.8°E / -35.4; 173.8. It is the largest inland town and highest community above sea level in the Northland Region.
