Judith Ariana Fitzgerald (born 11 November 1952) is a Canadian poet and journalist. Born in Toronto, Ontario, she attended York University (where she earned her B.A. and M.A; she did her doctoral work at the University of Toronto). The award-winning poet, critic, and cultural commentarian published her first poem October 1970. She also works as a biographer, ghost writer, and editor as well as writing on creative phenomena for both the Toronto Globe & Mail and The Philadelphia Inquirer. She lives in Northern Ontario's Almaguin Highlands.
