Józef Beck
Józef Beck (October 4, 1894, Warsaw – June 5, 1944, Stăneşti, Romania) was a Polish politician, diplomat, military officer, and close associate of Józef Piłsudski. He is most famous for being Polish foreign minister in the 1930s, when he was involved in territorial disputes with Nazi Germany that subsequently led to the invasion of Poland and the Second World War.
