Joshua Sobol, also known as Yehoshua Sobol (יהושע סובול) (born in Tel Mond in 1939), is an Israeli playwright, writer, and director at theatres in Israel and abroad.
He is married to Edna, set and costume designer. They have a daughter, Neta, and a son, Yahli (who is a well-known singer and writer).
