Relationship With The Media

Idema had some success convincing members of the media that he was a terrorism expert. This allowed him to secure interviews and in some instances get his "terrorism videos" broadcast on television. Famous quotes containing the words relationship with, relationship and/or media:

I began to expand my personal service in the church, and to search more diligently for a closer relationship with God among my different business, professional and political interests.
Jimmy Carter (James Earl Carter, Jr.)

We think of religion as the symbolic expression of our highest moral ideals; we think of magic as a crude aggregate of superstitions. Religious belief seems to become mere superstitious credulity if we admit any relationship with magic. Ernst Cassirer (1874–1945)

The media transforms the great silence of things into its opposite. Formerly constituting a secret, the real now talks constantly. News reports, information, statistics, and surveys are everywhere.
    Michel de Certeau (1925–1986)
