John III Doukas Vatatzes, Latinized as Ducas Vatatzes (Greek: Ιωάννης Γ΄ Δούκας Βατάτζης, Iōannēs III Doukas Vatatzēs, c. 1192, Didymoteicho – 3 November 1254, Nymphaion) was Emperor of Nicaea 1221–1254.
