Johann Heinrich Voss

Johann Heinrich Voss (German: Johann Heinrich Voß ; 20 February 1751 – 29 March 1826) was a German poet and translator, known mostly for his translation of Homer's Odyssey into German (and also for that of the Iliad, see below).
