Personal Life
McGreevey has a daughter, Morag, from his first marriage (1991–1997) to Canadian Karen Joan Schutz. He has another daughter, Jacqueline, from his second marriage to Portuguese-born Dina Matos McGreevey.
Dina Matos and McGreevey separated after he came out, and in late 2005 McGreevey and Australian-American executive Mark O'Donnell began a relationship. The two live in Plainfield, New Jersey. McGreevey has taught ethics, law and leadership at Kean University in Union, New Jersey.
In her memoirs, Matos wrote that she would never have married McGreevey if she had known he was gay, nor would she have chosen to have a gay man to father her child. On March 17, 2008, Theodore Pedersen, a former aide to McGreevey, claimed that from 1999 to 2001 he participated in numerous threesomes with McGreevey and Matos, a statement later affirmed by McGreevey. In a statement to ABC News, Matos denied that a threesome ever took place.

Famous quotes containing the words personal and/or life:
“The terrible thing is that one cannot be a Communist and not let oneself in for the shameful act of recantation. One cannot be a Communist and preserve an iota of ones personal integrity.”
—Milovan Djilas (b. 1911)
“O, reason not the need! Our basest beggars
Are in the poorest thing superfluous.
Allow not nature more than nature needs,
Mans life is cheap as beasts. Thou art a lady;
If only to go warm were gorgeous,
Why, nature needs not what thou gorgeous wearst,
Which scarcely keeps thee warm. But, for true need
You heavens, give me that patience, patience I need!”
—William Shakespeare (15641616)
