Famous quotes containing the words physical, mental and/or decline:
“Dance is bigger than the physical body. ...When you extend your arm, it doesnt stop at the end of your fingers, because youre dancing bigger than that; youre dancing spirit.”
—Judith Jamison (b. 1943)
“Mental violence has no potency and injures only the person whose thoughts are violent. It is otherwise with mental non-violence. It has potency which the world does not yet know.”

“Or else I thought her supernatural;
As though a sterner eye looked through her eye
On this foul world in its decline and fall,
On gangling stocks grown great, great stocks run dry,
Ancestral pearls all pitched into a sty,
Heroic reverie mocked by clown and knave....”
—William Butler Yeats (18651939)
