NFL Career

Losch was the 8th overall pick in the 1956 NFL Draft by the Green Bay Packers, but played for only a year before joining the United States Air Force as a jet pilot.

For 37 years, following his NFL career, he was Director of Fleet Services at General Motors.

Losch died on May 27, 2004. On June 10, 2004, Little League Baseball and Softball announced that the Little League World Series Team Sportsmanship Award would be named after Losch.
