Ivana Helsinki

Ivana Helsinki is a Finnish fashion company, founded by designer Paola Suhonen and her sister Pirjo Suhonen in 1998. Paola's design ideology of aesthetic, genuine everyday-use fashion clothing has gained widestream support. Ivana Helsinki carries line of fashion clothes with reputation for high quality materials, bright colors and bold in-house print designs. Ivana Helsinki's head office and flagship store locate in Helsinki. Ivana Helsinki opened its second concept store in Nolita, New York in February 2012.

In 2007, Ivana Helsinki was the first Scandinavian company ever to participate in the Paris fashion week. in September 2010 Ivana Helsinki launched its first collection in New York fashion week, Ivana Helsinki is the only Finnish fashion brand accepted in the official IMG calendar in the New York fashion week.

In 2010, Ivana Helsinki was sued by Ivana Trump for "trademark infringement, unfair competition and violations of privacy and publicity rights" for using her first name. Noting that "Ivana" is Paola's middle name, Ivana Helsinki's lawyer stated that the company considers the claims "baseless" and will defend themselves in court.
