Current Codes
Subdivision names are listed as in the ISO 3166-2 standard published by the ISO 3166 Maintenance Agency (ISO 3166/MA).
ISO 639-1 codes are used to represent subdivision names in the following administrative languages:
- (ca): Catalan
- (eu): Basque
- (gl): Galician
In the autonomous communities of Galicia, Catalonia and the Balearics, the respective regional languages are the sole official languages of toponymy. Old toponymic Castilian language forms are given in square brackets for information. For the toponyms of the autonomous communities of Navarra, Valencia and the Basque Country, the regional language has co-official status with Castilian. Toponymic regional language forms having equal status to that of Castilian are given after a slash mark (in accordance with the official Spanish form of presentation).

Famous quotes containing the words current and/or codes:
“Natural Man, in our current version, is a disgruntled adolescent.”
—Mason Cooley (b. 1927)
“... until both employers and workers groups assume responsibility for chastising their own recalcitrant children, they can vainly bay the moon about ignorant and unfair public criticism. Moreover, their failure to impose voluntarily upon their own groups codes of decency and honor will result in more and more necessity for government control.”
—Mary Barnett Gilson (1877?)
