Station Modernization
The TTC has plans to renovate this station. Part of the plan includes the demolition of the current bus terminal and construction of a new, wheelchair-accessible one on the north side of the station. The plans also call for a new passenger pick up and drop off area, installation of elevators for increased accessibility to the subway level and exterior landscaping and upgrades to station finishes to give it a more modern look. The project is scheduled to start in 2010 and last approximately 3 years.
