Future Extension in Manhattan

The IRT Flushing Line is being extended westward and southward in Manhattan, with an expected completion date of 2014. There will be only one new station at 34th Street and Eleventh Avenue to serve Jacob Javits Convention Center. Funding is in place and construction began in late 2007.
