"Dancing Queen" was released to Australian radio, Kylie's first Australian, radio-only single. As it was a radio-only single, it was not eligible to chart on the official ARIA chart. It did however achieve considerable airplay and the video was quite popular on the Australian music show RAGE.
The radio version of 3:48, appears on the Australian compilation Greatest Hits 1987–1999.
