Interstate 87 (I-87) is a 333.49-mile (536.70 km) Interstate Highway located entirely within New York in the United States. I-87 is the longest intrastate Interstate Highway in the Interstate Highway System. Its southern end is at the Bronx approaches of the Triborough Bridge in New York City, and its northern end is at the Canadian border in Champlain, where it continues into Quebec as Autoroute 15. I-87 connects with I-95 in New York City; New York State Route 17 (NY 17; future I-86) near Harriman; I-84 near Newburgh; and I-90 in Albany. The portion of I-87 between the New York City line and Albany is part of the New York State Thruway. North of Albany, I-87 is known as the Adirondack Northway.
