Scores are given in the form –– . A goal equals 6 points, an over, 3, and a behind, 1. So 2–9–10 (49) means 2 goals, 9 overs and 10 behinds; 2(6) + 9(3) + 10(1) = 12 + 27 + 10 = 49 points in total.

Famous quotes containing the words series and/or results:

The theory of truth is a series of truisms.
    —J.L. (John Langshaw)

Consider what you have in the smallest chosen library. A company of the wisest and wittiest men that could be picked out of all civil countries in a thousand years have set in best order the results of their learning and wisdom. Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803–1882)
