The Interior Plains are an extensive physiographic division encompassing eight distinct physiographic provinces, the Interior Low Plateaus, Great Plains, Central Lowland, Mackenzie Delta, Manitoba Lowlands, Northern Boreal Plains, Prairie Grassland and the Southern Boreal Plains and Plateaux'.
