Tuition Fees
As of 2011/12, the annual boarding and academic fees are CHF 130,000 ($137,000 USD), making it the most expensive school in the world. Other services, both mandatory and optional, make total expenses add up to approximately CHF 200,000 ($212,000 USD). Many international publications also consider Le Rosey as the most exclusive boarding schools in the world. The Financial Times wrote in an article: "Other Swiss private schools, such as Beau Soleil or Aiglon in the ski village of Villars, or St Georges near Montreux, may vie for the same discreet exclusivity, but none quite matches Le Rosey for reputation, prestige – or price". The Rosey Foundation, which oversees the financing of Le Rosey's Carnal Hall, makes scholarships possible to "particularly deserving" students, and the four-member Rosey Scholarship Committee allots them to the approved students. However, Institut Le Rosey does not directly offer scholarships to any person, as scholarships are only made available through the Rosey Foundation.

“You send your child to the schoolmaster, but tis the schoolboys who educate him. You send him to the Latin class, but much of his tuition comes, on his way to school, from the shop- windows.”
