Indoor Cricket - Types of Match and Competition

Types of Match and Competition

Indoor cricket is typically played either as a six- or eight-a-side match, and with six- or eight-ball overs respectively. The game can be played in men's, women's and mixed competitions. Permutations of the game include bonus overs (where the bonus score is double, dismissals result in seven (7) runs (cf. five (5) runs) being deducted from the team score and fielding restrictions removed.)

Famous quotes containing the words types of, types, match and/or competition:

Our children evaluate themselves based on the opinions we have of them. When we use harsh words, biting comments, and a sarcastic tone of voice, we plant the seeds of self-doubt in their developing minds.... Children who receive a steady diet of these types of messages end up feeling powerless, inadequate, and unimportant. They start to believe that they are bad, and that they can never do enough.
    Stephanie Martson (20th century)

He’s one of those know-it-all types that, if you flatter the wig off him, he chatter like a goony bird at mating time.
—Michael Blankfort. Lewis Milestone. Johnson (Reginald Gardner)

“I do not like him.”MWhy?—”I am no match for him.”MHas a person ever answered in this way?
    Friedrich Nietzsche (1844–1900)

The praise of ancient authors proceeds not from the reverence of the dead, but from the competition and mutual envy of the living.
    Thomas Hobbes (1588–1679)
