Releases
Ice Climber, a launch title for the NES in North America, has been re-released for a number of Nintendo's major gaming consoles. Note that Vs. Ice Climber is not a true port, since it includes elements not found in the original game, such as an animated title screen, stage select menu, blizzard and wind effects, new enemies, and bonus multiplier items. For the release on the PC-8801, the game changes to a different and more limited color palette along with a reworked HUD. Including the releases listed below, the entire NES game is found within the 2002 GameCube release of Animal Crossing.

Famous quotes containing the word releases:
“We need a type of theatre which not only releases the feelings, insights and impulses possible within the particular historical field of human relations in which the action takes place, but employs and encourages those thoughts and feelings which help transform the field itself.”
