Ibrahim Ahmed Mahmoud al Qosi (إبراهيم أحمد محمود القوصي) (born July 3, 1960) is a Sudanese citizen and alleged paymaster for al-Qaida. He was captured in December, 2001 in Afghanistan. Qosi is held in extrajudicial detention in the United States Guantanamo Bay detainment camps, in Cuba. His Guantanamo Internment Serial Number is 54. The Department of Defense reports that he was born on July 3, 1960, in Khartoum, Sudan. Ibrahim Ahmed Mahmoud al Qosi was held at Guantanamo for approximately ten years and six months.
