Human Trafficking - National Human Trafficking Resource Center Hotline

National Human Trafficking Resource Center Hotline

The National Human Trafficking Resource Center (NHTRC) is a national, toll-free hotline, available to answer calls from anywhere in the United States, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, every day of the year. It is operated by Polaris Project, a non-government organization working to combat human trafficking. Callers can report tips and receive information on human trafficking by calling the hotline at 1.888.3737.888.

The hotline provides data on where cases of suspected human trafficking are occurring within the United States. A national map of calls is updated daily to reflect the sources of calls to the hotline.

Famous quotes containing the words national, human, resource and/or center:

We want, and must have, a national policy, as to slavery, which deals with it as being wrong.
    Abraham Lincoln (1809–1865)

Just as despair can come to one only from other human beings, hope, too, can be given to one only by other human beings.
    Elie Wiesel (b. 1928)

Your kind doesn’t just kill men. You murder their spirits, you strangle their last breath of hope and freedom, so that you, the chosen few, can rule your slaves in ease and luxury. You’re a sadist just like the others, Heiser, with no resource but violence and no feeling but fear, the kind you’re feeling now. You’re drowning, Heiser, drowning in the ocean of blood around this barren little island you call the New Order.
    Curtis Siodmak (1902–1988)

Louise Bryant: I’m sorry if you don’t believe in mutual independence and free love and respect.
Eugene O’Neill: Don’t give me a lot of parlor socialism that you learned in the village. If you were mine, I wouldn’t share you with anybody or anything. It would be just you and me. You’d be at the center of it all. You know it would feel a lot more like love than being left alone with your work.
    Warren Beatty (b. 1937)
