Houyhnhnms (/ˈhuːɪnəm/ or /ˈhwɪnəm/; Swift apparently intended all words of the Houyhnhnm language to echo the neighing of horses) are a race of intelligent horses described in the last part of Jonathan Swift's satirical Gulliver's Travels.
