Current Situation

The 2012 Dutch general elections were held on Wednesday, September 12, 2012, and followed the call for new elections after the fall of the First Rutte cabinet.

The formation talks led to the installation of the Second Rutte cabinet, composed of VVD and PvdA on November 5, 2012.
