Famous quotes containing the words high, school and/or diploma:
“They talk about their Pilgrim blood,
Their birthright high and holy!
A mountain-stream that ends in mud
Methinks is melancholy.”

“And Guidobaldo, when he made
That grammar school of courtesies
Where wit and beauty learned their trade
Upon Urbinos windy hill,
Had sent no runners to and fro
That he might learn the shepherds will.”
—William Butler Yeats (18651939)
“Our father has an even more important function than modeling manhood for us. He is also the authority to let us relax the requirements of the masculine model: if our father accepts us, then that declares us masculine enough to join the company of men. —Frank Pittman (20th century)
