Hemoptysis

Hemoptysis or haemoptysis ( /hɨˈmɒptɨsɪs/) is the expectoration (coughing up) of blood or of blood-stained sputum from the bronchi, larynx, trachea, or lungs (e.g., in tuberculosis or other respiratory infections or cardiovascular pathologies).
