Heinrich Hoffmann - Secret Photos of Adolf Hitler

Secret Photos of Adolf Hitler

A total of nine photographs taken by Hoffman reveal how Adolf Hitler used to rehearse his hand gestures for his public speeches and used to ask Hoffmann to take pictures of these so he could see what he would look like to the German people, as one of Hitler's greatest and most well-known skills was his public speaking which he used to his advantage to emphasise his idea of a "great national revival" of Germany. Egon Hanfstaengl (elder brother of Ernst "Putzi" Hanfstaengl, a prominent figure in the recent 2011 novel In The Garden Of Beasts), the son of Hitler's foreign press officer, said in a documentary, Fatal Attraction Of Hitler: "He had that ability which is needed to make people stop thinking critically and just emote."

The great mass of people ... will more easily fall victim to a big lie than to a small one.
    Adolf Hitler (1889–1945)

The great secret of succeeding in conversation is to admire little, to hear much; always to distrust our own reason, and sometimes that of our friends; never to pretend to wit, but to make that of others appear as much as possibly we can; to hearken to what is said and to answer to the purpose.
    Benjamin Franklin (1706–1790)

The thing with Catholicism, the same as all religions, is that it teaches what should be, which seems rather incorrect. This is “what should be.” Now, if you’re taught to live up to a “what should be” that never existed—only an occult superstition, no proof of this “should be”Mthen you can sit on a jury and indict easily, you can cast the first stone, you can burn Adolf Eichmann, like that!
    Lenny Bruce (1925–1966)

If today I stand here as a revolutionary, it is as a revolutionary against the Revolution.
    —Adolf Hitler (1889–1945)
