Hazzan
A hazzan or chazzan (Hebrew: חַזָּן ħazzān, Modern Hebrew hazan, Yiddish khazn Ladino hassan) is a Jewish cantor, a musician trained in the vocal arts who helps lead the congregation in songful prayer.
