Mk.1
Initial configuration with a conventional cockpit with mechanical gauges and Turbomeca TM 333-2B2 turboshaft engines. A total of 56 delivered to the Indian military.
Mk.2
Similar to the Mk.1, except has the newer HAL-IAI glass cockpit. A total of 20 delivered to the Indian military.
Mk.3
Equipped with Shakti engines, new electronic warfare (EW) suite and warning systems, automatic chaff and flare dispensers, and improved vibration control system. The first batch of 10 Dhruv Mk.3 were inducted into service in 2012.
HAL Rudra
Also known as Dhruv-WSI (Weapons System Integrated)
Mk.3
Outfitted with electronic warfare, countermeasures, sensors and targeting systems installed, but does not feature weapons.
Mk.4
Equipped with a turret gun, rockets, and various air-to-air and air-to-ground missiles, such as the anti-tank Helina missile.
