Gregor Strasser

Gregor Strasser (also Straßer, see ß) (31 May 1892 – 30 June 1934) was a German politician and prominent figure in the Nazi Party. He became a rival to Adolf Hitler, resigned from his political offices in late 1932, and was murdered in 1934, during the "Night of the Long Knives".
