Grand Prix Legends (nicknamed GPL) is a computer racing simulator developed by Papyrus Design Group and published in 1998 by Sierra Entertainment. At the time of its release, it simulated the 1967 Formula One season and is considered by many people to be one of the most realistic racing games ever released.
As of 2012, mods depicting the 1965, 1966 and 1969 Formula 1 seasons, 1967 World Sportscar Championship season and 1967 Formula 2 season have been created. Modders are currently developing others carsets such as the 1971 Can-Am season.
