Famous quotes containing the words golden and/or spiral:
“Fasten your hair with a golden pin,
And bind up every wandering tress;
I bade my heart build these poor rhymes:
It worked at them, day out, day in,
Building a sorrowful loveliness
Out of the battles of old times.”
—William Butler Yeats (18651939)
“The spiral is a spiritualized circle. In the spiral form, the circle, uncoiled, unwound, has ceased to be vicious; it has been set free.”
—Vladimir Nabokov (18991977)
