Divisions
Godda district comprises only one sub-division Godda, which is further divided into eight blocks: Boarijore, Godda, Mahagama, Meharama, Pathargama, Poraiyahat, Sunderpahari and Thakurgangti,Basantrai.
There are three Vidhan Sabha constituencies in this district: Poreyahat, Godda and Mahagama. All of these are part of Godda Lok Sabha constituency.
