"Glamorous Glue" is a single released in the USA by English singer Morrissey in 1992. It reached number 13 on Billboard magazine's Hot Modern Rock Tracks chart. The song has also been used in promotions for the Fox television series Lie to Me. It was not a single release in the UK. The song features on the album Your Arsenal.
In February 2011, it was announced the song would be re-issued on limited edition 7" vinyl formats with two previously unreleased b-sides: 'Safe, Warm Lancashire Home' and 'Treat Me Like A Human Being'. This re-issue charted at #69 in the UK charts, thus replacing "Hold on to Your Friends" as Morrissey's lowest charting single.
Famous quotes containing the words glamorous and/or glue:
“Smoking ... is downright dangerous. Most people who smoke will eventually contract a fatal disease and die. But they dont brag about it, do they? Most people who ski, play professional football or drive race cars, will not dieat least not in the actand yet they are the ones with the glamorous images, the expensive equipment and the mythic proportions. Why this should be I cannot say, unless it is simply that the average American does not know a daredevil when he sees one.”
—Fran Lebowitz (b. 1950)
“I was never one to patiently pick up broken fragments and glue them together again and tell myself that the mended whole was as good as new. What is broken is brokenand Id rather remember it as it was at its best than mend it and see the broken places as long as I lived.... I wish I could care what you do or where you go, but I cant. My dear, I dont give a damn.”
—Margaret Mitchell (19001949)
