Controversy
On the 28 February 2012 episode of The Circle, Negus along with Yumi Stynes, became centre of an online controversy due to remarks in relation to Corporal Ben Roberts-Smith a Victoria Cross and Medal for Gallantry recipient. Negus contacted Roberts-Smith personally to apologise and Ben accepted the apology remarking they were not offensive.
