GCC also has a radio station called The Music. It can be heard on 90.7FM, and also at wgcc-fm.com. It broadcasts to an approximately 25-mile (40 km) radius of the school.
In 2001, a SUNY student poll rated Genesee the 7th most attractive campus in the SUNY system.
