The Generalitat of Catalonia or Generalitat de Catalunya (Catalan: Generalitat de Catalunya;, ; Spanish: Generalidad de Cataluña; meaning in English; Government of Catalonia) is the institution under which the autonomous community of Catalonia in Spain is politically organised. It consists of the Parliament, the President of the Generalitat of Catalonia and the Government of Catalonia.
The Generalitat had responsibility for an annual budget of more than €23.9 billion in 2006, rising to more than €32.5 billion in 2010.
