A majority of the Fairoaks Aerodrome Traffic Zone (ATZ) is situated within the London Control Zone (CTR), therefore special procedures are in place to enable flights to depart and arrive at Fairoaks without the need to contact Heathrow Radar.
NOTE: All circuit joins must be made from the south, usually overhead the Ockham VRP. This might mean flying past the airfield first if arriving from the north.

Famous quotes containing the words flying and/or information:
“a flying open of doors, convergence
of magic objects into
feathered hands and crested heads, a prospect
of winter verve, a buildup to abundance.”
—Denise Levertov (b. 1923)
“But while ignorance can make you insensitive, familiarity can also numb. Entering the second half-century of an information age, our cumulative knowledge has changed the level of what appalls, what stuns, what shocks.”
—Anna Quindlen (b. 1952)
